Updated: Apr 21, 2022

Dates from April 14 to April 29, 2022.

Place Gallery URBANFRESCO, Moscow

The first exhibition of the new international association of artists ASM-Club.com it became the official opening of his work. And, as expected, the club's activity began with acquaintances: artists offered the audience self-presentation paintings. "By the SELFIE method" is the theme of the exhibition. The authors of the presented works comprehend their purpose, role and place in art and in time.

The exposition has become symbolic for the Urbanfresco space itself, which was originally conceived as a workshop where printing is made using unique modern technology. The exhibition "By the selfie method", located in the premises of the workshop, marked the beginning of the functioning of this space in the status of a gallery.

The format of the exhibition works "By the selfie method": painting, performance.

Artists: Anastasia Strizhkova (Germany), Natalia Lukomskaya (Russia), Maryam Tselishcheva, Diana Pfaff (Germany), Elena Dunaeva (Italy), Natalia Afanasyeva (Sweden), Stasy Votinova (Russia), Lola Hakimova (Turkey), Ekaterina Borisova (Russia), Mila Levchenko (Russia), Olga Skhirladze (Russia), Irina Laskova (Russia) and others.

However, everyone who came to the opening day was also able to evaluate the workshop's activities: the founder and owner of Urbanfresco, Oleg Lukyanov, demonstrated the possibilities of new digital technologies by painting an urban fresco on the outer wall of the building in the presence of guests and talking about its properties - durability, resistance to pollution and temperature changes. The fresco, which now adorns the wall of one of the alleys of Sretensky Boulevard, depicts Joseph Brodsky. The famous picture of the poet, taken by Alexander Borodulin on a New York street, was magnified many times with the help of a neural network without loss of quality. Oleg Lukyanov recalled the story of 2020, when a similar piece of street art in St. Petersburg lasted only a few hours and was destroyed by public utilities, and expressed confidence that a happy future awaits the new urban fresco.
